В понедельник 12 октября 2020 г. в большом конференц-зале Института Зоологии, воспитанники школы High Tech Academy (HTA) представили первые результаты своих научных проектов, посвященных проблеме сохранения снежного барса в горах вокруг г. Алматы.
В течение предыдущих трёх недель ребята, разделившись на группы, изучали особенности снежного барса и проблемы, связанные с его сохранением – полностью самостоятельно, ориентируясь на научную информацию, предварительно полученную от зоологов, териологов и других специалистов Института зоологии и ОФ «Wildlife Without Borders». «Цель данной инициативы – помочь нам в распространении природоохранной информации, а именно, донести до младшего поколения знания о важности сохранения биологического разнообразия и бережном отношении к природе. На наш взгляд, результат будет наиболее эффективен, если эту информацию донесут до детей сами дети!» — говорит Алексей Грачёв, руководитель Центра мониторинга снежного барса Института зоологии МОН РК и эксперт Wildlife Without Borders.
По итогам данных творческих действий был получен невероятно полезный и нужный результат: ученики 6 классов в различной форме – презентации, видеоролики, плакаты, постеры, обучающие интерактивные игры и т.д. представили живое и интересное пособие для учеников начальных школ, позволяющее детям 7-9 лет легко и ясно представить себе – кто такой снежный барс, почему его нужно охранять, какие проблемы несет в себе нынешнее положение этого прекрасного и редкого хищника.
И, безусловно, для самих ребят, готовивших проекты, эта работа не пройдёт бесследно – очень многие из них заинтересовались вопросами сохранения устойчивого существования биоразнообразия, впечатлились находящимися под угрозой исчезновения краснокнижными животными, а также, как мы надеемся, поняли, что самым главным фактором дальнейшего благополучия экосистем являются они сами – наше молодое, будущее поколение!

On Monday, October 12, 2020, in the large conference hall of the Institute of Zoology, students of the High Tech Academy (HTA) presented the first results of their scientific projects dedicated to the issue of snow leopard conservation in the mountains around Almaty.
During the previous three weeks, the students, divided into groups, studied the peculiarities of the snow leopard and the problems associated with its conservation – independently, focusing on scientific information previously received from zoologists, theriologists and other specialists of the Institute of Zoology and «Wildlife Without Borders» Public Fund. “The goal of this initiative is to help us disseminate environmental information, namely, to convey to the younger generation the importance of biodiversity conservation and consideration for nature. In our opinion, the result will be most effective if children bring this information to the children themselves! » – says Alexey Grachev, head of the Snow Leopard Monitoring Center of the Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and «Wildlife Without Borders» expert.
As a result of these creative procedures, an incredibly useful and necessary result was obtained. Students of 6 grades presented a very lively and interesting materials for primary school students in various forms – presentations, videos, posters, posters, educational interactive games, etc., allowing children of 7-9 years old to easily and clearly imagine what animal snow leopard is, why it needs to be protected, what issues are there regarding its current situation.
For the students who prepared the projects, this work made a difference too. Many of them became interested in the issues of preserving biodiversity, were impressed by the endangered animals in the Red Book, and also, we hope, realized that the most important factor in further well-being ecosystems are themselves – our young generation!
